The Review
The good
It is VERY quiet. My daughter who is scared of most kitchen appliance noises/the vacuum is un-phased by this. It is a nice design, very sturdy, and very powerful. I have ground frozen turkey in it a few times with almost no issues. I also really like that it comes with a case for all the attachments to keep everything organized
Nitpicks
This model has 3 bowls plus like a "blender" attachment. I had kind of hoped that it would be able to work as a tiny mixer for pestos and sauces, and also make it so I didn't need a blender - but the truth is that it is just a very very good food processor and mediocre at those other things. I do wish they had a blend attachment I could put on the same base.
Why this one?
I did a lot of research and ultimately picked this one because it is a french company and they have a lifetime warranty for their engines, it also had very good reviews and claimed to be pretty quiet.
My pro tip for others who have this is
If you are planning to use all the bowls - make whatever you need to make in the smallest bowl first, then the medium bowl, then the largest bowl. They have to be nested to use them and this was you don't have to worry about cleaning the bigger bowl more than once.
The Purchase
Where?
I bought it directly from Magimix, and it was on sale for 100€ less than normal. I think they have annual sales so it is likely worth waiting
When?
2024
Also considered
I also considered a Cusinart or Ninja - the Ninja has the blender option but I decided to go with this one because I like the politics of the company and wanted to go with something from a more local company
