What’s in Place Today
- Account Controls: Pause or delete your account any time. Changes happen immediately and log you out.
- Self-Service Export: Download everything you've added to Shoptap from your Account Settings page.
- In-App Data Controls: Use Settings → Privacy to trigger exports or start the permanent account deletion flow.
- Data Access: We respond to access, correction, or deletion requests via [email protected].
- Privacy-First Analytics: Usage insights rely on pseudonymous identifiers and keep emails out of analytics payloads.
- Lean Logs: Server logs keep just enough detail to resolve issues—no IP addresses or browser fingerprints.
- Plain-Language Policies: Our privacy policy explains what we collect, why, and how to reach us.
- Terms of Service: Ground rules for using Shoptap are now published at /terms.
What We’re Finishing Next
- Account-level analytics opt-out toggle in Settings → Privacy.
- Automated deletion of leftover references in our supporting systems.
- Private media delivery with time-limited links.
- Accessibility statement outlining our WCAG audit results.
